HUES refer to the different shades and variations of colors. In the world of music, hues are often used to describe the purest and most basic versions of sound designs, tints, shades and tones. A group of world class musicians/band who have collectively worked with renowned artists locally and beyond the South African borders. The band was formed in 2018 during their theatre tour in The Netherlands, woeing audiences with their eclectic sounds. It came as no surprise that they have since enjoyed a good run of artistic exchange yearly in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and recently (2023) completed a three month European Tour, forming the backbone of Paul Simon's Graceland Tribute Concert which was produced by DG Theater. Understanding the concept of HUES is important in various fields, including art, design and story telling, as this forms a beautiful collaboration of influences inspired by the diversity that exists with the band HUES.
